Why is this course for you?
Asset Management plans area key planning document for organisations which deliver levels of service through assets. This seminar is complimentary in content to the Introduction to Asset Management seminar and is a practical ‘how to’ write and update an asset management plan.
Whether you are charged with developing and updating the plan or you use the outputs of asset management plans to develop strategic documents such as long term financial forecasts and business plans, it is important you understand the purpose of the asset management plan, how it has been developed and the assumptions made. This introductory seminar covers general asset management plan principles which are applicable to a wide range of assets including transportation, water, waste, stormwater and land drainage, energy, telecommunications and a vast range of property types.
On completion of the seminar attendees will:
• Understand the purpose of the asset management plan and how the individual sections relate to each
• Have a good understanding of what should be covered in each section of the plan and why
• Appreciate what good practice looks like
• Be able to identify what they should focus on to get the most organisational value from their plan
This practical one day seminar has been designed to offer an intensive hands-on introductory course which will ensure attendees can apply the principles of the NAMS International Infrastructure Management Manual (IIMM) to benefit their own organisation.
