Developing & Evaluating Levels of Service Options for Local Government
This advanced course builds on the Introduction to Levels of Service seminar and looks at how to integrate levels of service into decision making. The seminar will be a mixture of presentations and interactive workshops created specifically for the Local Government sector.
Based on the NAMS Developing levels of service and performance measures guidelines, this seminar covers:
- Critically reviewing your performance management framework, levels of service and performance measures
- Developing and costing levels of service options
- Level of service decision making and organisational trade-offs
- Consultation techniques relevant to level of service debate with communities and stakeholders
Workshop sessions, case studies and group discussion forums will be used to practically illustrate the theory
Who should attend?
· Activity and Asset Managers from all local authority sector disciplines and their staff
· Long Term Plan and Statements of Intent coordinators
Why is this course for you?
The delivery of levels of service is the key driver in asset management and activity managers need a good understanding of levels of service for their management decisions.
